About KDS Security

Established in 2006, KDS Security has nearly twenty years of experience in the security industry in Ireland. We provide the very latest in security technology solutions to our commercial, industrial and domestic clients throughout Ireland.

KDS Security is registered and accredited with the EN50131 standard by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI). Under EN50131/1, alarm installers who apply for certification are assessed by NSAI Inspectors, and have our operations and procedures evaluated. A number of alarm installations are inspected and compared with the requirements of I.S. EN 50131/1.

In addition, by virtue of our EN50131/1 accreditation, the NSAI has passed our name to the Garda Siochána, who are then prepared to provide a response to alarm activations from monitored installations installed by us, and to the Insurance industry, which in general offers favourable rates to householders and businesses whose installations are certified.

The Private Security Authority

KDS Security licensed by the Private Security Authority (PSA) which was established in 2004 to regulate the private security industry in Ireland. The act makes it an offence for a security company or a person working in the industry to provide, or present themselves to provide, a security service without a licence.

Similarly, it is an offence to employ an unlicensed security operator.

Our PSA license number is 00555.

In addition to the above KDS Security has full liability insurance cover for all the systems and services we supply.
